Model 600C - Overview

Handles CAItech's largest part sizes: up to 600 mm maximum dimension.  Ideal for sheet metal parts to check hole location and bend angles.  Uses 4 axes of scanning motion to move the confocal optics sensor (X, Y, Z) and rotate the part (Theta).  The operator places the part to be inspected on the part holder and touches a button.  The rest is automatic.  In a minute or less the linescan sensor extracts 3D datapoints from the part's surface and determines dimensions with our patented software and hardware -- repeatable to a few microns.
